Kyle Ocean is a sculpture artist residing in western Washington whose work is concept-driven and centered around geographical exploration and public involvement. His sculptural work utilizes the graphic language of his printmaking and drawing, translating that language into equally expressive three-dimensional form. Much of his work uses scale and surface details, intended to captivate the viewer’s interest from afar. His designs are intended to bring the viewer closer to investigate the complexity of intricate surface details that are revealed through the patina process. His work is constantly evolving and changing in concurrence with the environment he is surrounded and influenced by.

Much of Kyle’s work is site-specific and centers around how the work will add to the space that it occupies. Incorporating a lot of topography into his pieces, to give a nod to the surrounding area. With the end goal to be bringing the natural world into our concrete city-scapes.

His passion is to work creatively with clients on what inspires them and use his experience to bring that feeling to life in the form of art. Always pushing bigger, and aiming for large statement pieces that continue to push boundaries and limits.
